GLOBAL seminar invitation

To develop more sustainable societies industry need to better understand how to respond to environmental, social and economic challenges and transform industrial behavior and thinking. The GLOBAL-project aims to help small and medium-sized companies in Northern Jutland to approach the challenges of globalization.

The ability to ensure sustainability in the supply chain is a factor, which is of increasing value on the global market. The GLOBAL-project therefore invites to a seminar with the theme of sustainable supply chains as a source for innovation. The seminar is held on May 12 from 9:00-15:30 on Fibigerstræde 16, room 1.208. It will feature inputs from leading thinkers who work with the topic from different perspectives.

Professor Steve Evans from the Centre of Industrial Sustainability at Cambridge University guests the seminar and will discuss eco-efficiency experiences from the UK. His 12 years in the industry as an Engineering Manager has provided him with an excellent grounding for tackling complex, real life problems. His aim is to develop knowledge and tools that help accelerate the transition towards a sustainable industrial system.
